The Laurels Ltd. Is an established home of 25 years, approved by the Care Quality Commission. (CQC)

The Laurels is privately owned and directed by Mr. Terry Dobson who has been the sole owner since establishment twenty five years ago. As his only residential premises, Mr Dobson is fully involved in all aspects of ensuring the home maintains the high standards accredited to it. Mr. Dobson is present within the home most days and during his absence, he can be easily contacted to give support and advice or to attend the home if required.

The manager Mrs Christine Skeet has been with The Laurels for a year and holds her Registered Homes Manager Award (RHM) and Certificate in Management Studies (CMS) Christine has twenty five years experience in the care industry and is a trainer for The Aliheimer's Disease Society having been employed with Social Services for 19 years. Christine is present within the home, on a daily basis and is available to offer advice and support at any time.

 

Christine is responsible for the day to day running of the home and to oversee all aspects of daily occurrences. Weekends are overseen by senior supervisory staff. Mr. Dobson and Mrs Skeet. Both live in close proximity to the home, and either one can be contacted 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
